Vulcan will not fly on Sunday 25 July 2010

Due to a faulty brake unit, Avro Vulcan XH558 will be unable to take part in the flying programme this Sunday at the Farnborough International Airshow. The aircraft will however be parked on static display and available for "under wing" guided tours, until such time as it is able to be towed onto the Eastern side of the airfield for maintenance. This is the first technical issue encountered preventing flight in 2010, and Vulcan To The Sky Trust are working to facilitate the quickest possible repair. Please visit www.vulcantothesky.org for further information.
